Tiling... check. Grouting... check. Now we just have to clean it all up and seal it. It looks like a bathroom all of a sudden.

Bathroom updates

So we havent gotten a post up for a while, but we have still been working. Just last night we finished laying the tile floor, and the end is in sight. Now lets see how many pictures I have the patience to get up here.

Well, on July 10th we FINALLY got our house! We had to move Dan's stuff and our new dog, Daisy, in right away. My Dad came and worked his butt off all week to get our bathroom project going. The guys worked hard and made some good progress. A lot of people have asked to see pictures, so we will be posting some of our progress as we go along. This week we will be moving my stuff in. Ugh, I hate moving.

Tic toc goes the clock. Time is in slow motion as we hit delay after delay. Our mid June closing date is now July 6th. I've said this everytime, but I think this one really is it. We won't be able to take anymore days off of work so who knows how this will all work out, but the important thing is that it WILL all work out.

We have been walking dogs at BENCHS in mankato for over a month now, and have been focused on one in particular. Her current name is Missy. She's a black lab/coonhound mix, about 9 months old and we love her. So, we are pleased to announce that she is on hold until we get the house and then she's all ours!

Throughout the past two months we have endured many delays and experienced a rainbow of emotions, but we are feeling fairly confident that we will finally get our house in mid June! We are still as excited as we were in the beginning and can't wait to get started. Thanks to everyone who has shown us support and encouragement throughout this process. We plan to update this site with pictures, updates, etc. as we can.
